Where are you originally from?
Craig Cefn Parc, Swansea
When not doing Plaid Ifanc work, how do you spend your time?
I work at the Wales Millennium Centre so I take advantage of the opportunity to see many shows, concerts and operas. I also volunteer with the Personal Support Unit that offers emotional and practical support to litigants in person. Music festivals, live music, travel and being outdoors keeps me busy the rest of the time.
You’re hosting a special dinner and you get to invite four people in the history of the world to join you. Who are the four and why?
Despite putting a lot of thought into the question and I have the history of the world to choose from my four are all still alive (so the reality of this dinner party is still in reach!)
1. Diane Keaton – for the life experience, the stories and the giggles – la-di-da!
2. Caitlin Moran – for the sharp opinions and quick-wit
3. Miriam Margolys – for the honest, unapologetic and often jarring conversation
4. Kirsty Young – for her ability to ask thoughtful questions and hold a conversation when I shall be too inevitably star struck to do so. Also, imagine the wealth of her knowledge from interviewing hundreds of interesting people on Desert Island Discs.
Why Plaid Cymru?
A feeling of duty to care about our society and of what happens within our country, and the feeling of responsibility to give my time to work towards what I believe strongly in. Plaid Cymru represents the values that are important to me and the future Wales I wish to experience.
