When not doing Plaid Ifanc work, how do you spend your time?

Travelling, playing the trombone to Goodwick brass band, learning languages…

You’re hosting a special dinner and you get to invite any four people in the history of the world to join you. Who are the four and why?

Oriol Junqueras, president of ERC and Vice President of Catalonia. To hear in detail the government process of organizing the independence referendum in Catalonia,

Nick Clegg - Former Deputy Prime Minister of the UK - I’ve still been fascinated with how the coalition government was formed after the general election in 2010. I would love to have a detailed talk with Nick Clegg to find out why exactly the Liberal Democrats decided to work with David Cameron, and what he thinks of what has happened to his party, and the country following the decision to form a coalition.

Ha-Joon Chang - Organizational Economist (Institutional Economist) - Recently, I read his book “Economics: A users guide”. It is an important presentation on economics, the economy and the different economics schools that exist. I would love to discuss the book in detail with him, and I would recommend him books to anyone.

Manuela Carmena - Mayor of Madrid - Since arriving in force in Madrid in 2015, Manuela Carmena succeeded in Ahora Madrid to reduce the Madrid debt by 38%. Manuela Carmena’s track record since becoming the mayor of Madrid has been incredible, how much change has happened in a city usually so politically right wing.

Why Plaid Cymru?

I joined Plaid Cymru because I live in an area that often changes between Labor and the Tories and I think there is a need for a new type of politics outside the two party system to improve people’s lives. I believe Plaid Cymru is the new type of politics we need. I am also a keen republican and believe in establishing an independent Welsh Republic.
