When not doing Plaid Ifanc work, how do you spend your time?
I’m a student at Bangor University and also chair of the Ifanc Bangor branch. Apart from campaigning for Plaid Cymru, I like to socialise (usually with a pint), I sing in a choir, go to gigs and have a collection of vinyl records that is growing slowly!
You’re hosting a special dinner and you get to invite any four people in the history of the world to join you. Who are the four and why?
Dafydd Wigley, Nelson Mandela, Nile Rogers and Freddie Mercury.
I would like to discuss the 1997 referendum with Wigley and like to pick his brains about the successes of the Party in the late 90’s and the first days of the Assembly.
Mandela has an interesting history and I would like to find out about his experiences on Robyn Island. I would also like to find out how he was elected in 1994 and took the first steps to unite his country.
Nile Rogers and Freddie Mercury for the same reasons. I suspect both of them would be fun, with funny stories to entertain us.
Why Plaid Cymru?
I am a member of Plaid because I believe that it is the only political party that puts Wales first every time. There are few examples of other parties that do this while there are repeated examples of Plaid Cymru standing for Wales time and again.
