When not doing Plaid Cymru Youth work, how do you spend your time?
Day to day, I’m a postgraduate student at Aberystwyth University, studying a Masters degree in Welsh Politics- so as a good little student, you’ll either find me in the Library or the pub! As well as this, I’m a massive Chelsea FC and Wales fan!
You’re hosting a special dinner and you get to invite any four people in the history of the world to join you. Who are the four and why?
Good question! First of all, without doubt- the political ‘maverick’, Otto Van Bismarck- such an influential and interesting figure. I’d also extend an invitation to the former football manager, Brian Clough- a character in the true meaning of the word! I’d also love to invite Leonardo DiCaprio (my favorite actor). I’d better invite someone from Plaid as well… Cynog Dafis- one of my political heroes.
What made you join Plaid Cymru?
From a young age, I’ve been embraced in Plaid’s ideas and values, so it was always inevitable that I’d join one day! As well as this, it angers me so much seeing the London-centric unionist parties continually ignore Wales. We can do so much better. Plaid Cymru is the way forward.
