When not doing Plaid Cymru Youth work, how do you spend your time?
I’m lucky enough to study History and Economics at Cardiff University. I’m in my final year now, so the pressure is on! I also do work with the Student Union and was elected as the new Ethical and Environmental Officer recently, which I’m looking forward to starting. Outside of university life it’s all about football – I love watching the Welsh national team and I help out at Rhyl FC too.
You’re hosting a special dinner and you get to invite any four people in the history of the world to join you. Who are the four and why?
George Orwell first of all, I’m sure he would have plenty of interesting stories to tell and I’ve read all of his published books! I’d have so many questions and things to discuss with Sir Alex Ferguson, I think I’d have to ask him. I study Welsh history so being able to speak with Gwyn Alf Williams would be incredible. And I’m reading Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood at the moment, and she seems like a very interesting lady! I think that group of people could sort a lot of problems very quickly.
What made you join Plaid Cymru?
A combination of wanting Wales to be the best it can be and left-wing values.
