Plaid Ifanc is holding its annual national conference in our capital city, Cardiff on the 9th of April. This is an opportunity for the movement to gather, assess the incredible progress we’ve made in the last year, and plan how we can take the national movement to its next stage over the next 12 months.
This year, our National Conference will be held in Cardiff Students’ Union on the 9th of April at 10.30am.
We have made huge strides recently. New branches are starting across the country, our activists are helping Plaid candidates in key seats from Aberconwy to the Rhondda, and our #CymruRydd campaign is inspiring the next generation of activists, working together to build the Wales we want to see. Our national conference will see young people from every corner of Wales gather in the capital to set what our next priorities will be, to ensure our movement is representative of the young people of Wales, and to share ideas.
Policy motions and procedural motions / amendments to the constitution will be taken until the 3rd of April. It will be possible to amend motions before 12.00am on the day of the conference. Email your motions to [email protected]
All National Executive Committee (NEC) positions are up for election. You can put your name forward for any position by emailing a manifesto (no more than 300 words) to [email protected] You’ll find the job descriptions here.
Templates of motions and a copy of the constitution have already been sent out to our general membership. Accommodation with some of our local members is available on a first come first serve basis if you bring a sleeping bag. Email us a.s.a.p if you need acommodation!
It is very important to register to participate! Please do so by clicking here.
See you on the 9th!
