In September, Nia Davies, 17 years old from Tredegar in Blaenau Gwent, attended her first Plaid Ifanc event - our summer school. These were her thoughts after attending the community workshop with activist Sahar Al-Faifi…
This was my first Plaid Ifanc experience! The summer school showed me how important the youth movement really is.
During the event, I felt that everyone was enthusiastic and passionate to work together and there was a friendly atmosphere all day.
Before attending the Plaid Ifanc summer school with Sahar Al-Faifi I had some idea about community organisers.
But, since having the experience of discussing with Sahar about her work and how we can blend this with the Plaid Ifanc community, I now have a better understanding of the issue and the benefits of doing community organisation.
I’m so glad I went to the summer school and I’m really looking forward to being a part of Plaid Ifanc in the future!
