This year has been an interesting, exciting and turbulent one. We as Plaid Ifanc have had a spectacular year - we held our first national conference in Aberystwyth in March, we have two new branches and tens of new members too. We’ve also launched two successful campaigns - our #FreeWales campaign, which intends to get the young people of Wales to think about independence, and a beer mat campaign against sexist behaviour and lad culture.
The National Committee of Plaid Cymru Youth would like to wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all, in Wales and abroad. We stand with those in Wales suffering from social exclusion, poverty and domestic violence in Wales this Christmas. We would like to express our deepest solidarity with brothers and sisters across the world who are fighting against oppression, and we wish that 2016 be a prosperous year to all those who long for social justice and freedom. Our thoughts are especially with the thousands of refugees, exiled from their homes in Syria and Iraq and rejected by Western States.
Lastly, we hope that 2016 will be a positive year for all those who aspire for social justice and freedom - join us in the fight!
