Welsh Complimentary Currency - Y Punt Gymraeg

One of the primary arguments against Welsh Independence is that of economic weakness, and as such an increase in economic confidence is needed in the public. Plaid Ifanc believes that one of the ways to tackle this is with a Complimentary Currency, as seen in Scotland, Bristol and Brixton. We call for this currency to be developed, in both a physical and digital format, and for this to be backed by the Welsh Government.

Divestment from Unethical Industries

Plaid Ifanc call for an end of support to any unethical industry, and further our commitment of environmentalism and socialism in a way that supports our industries and communities equally.

Defending Young People in the Pandemic Recovery

The cost-of-living crisis following the Pandemic has hit everyone, but has particularly affected young people. An increase in living-costs, house prices and major job-losses has provided a massive impact on young people. The Welsh and UK Governments should support everybody in surviving this impart, and give particular support to young people and poorer communities, who are disproportionately affected.
