When not doing Plaid Ifanc work, how do you spend your time?
I work in Canolfan Bedwyr, Bangor University. I also often go to gigs, walking, enjoy travelling, and I’m very prone to binge-watching Netflix series. I’ve also joined a choir fairly recently.
You’re hosting a special dinner and you get to invite any four people in the history of the world to join you. Who are the four and why?
I’ve really struggled with this. I’ve eventually decided on a pretty random combination of people, each of whom have inspired me for many different reasons. Michelle Obama, as I really admire her for her sincerity and her intelligence. Frida Kahlo, I find her story so interesting and heartbreaking, she’s iconic and an inspiration. I’d love to meet her. Bedwyr Lewis Jones, a lecturer at Bangor University’s Welsh Department. Working at Canolfan Bedwyr, I’ve heard so much about him, and he sounded like quite the character! And last but not least… Every special dinner needs entertainment, and I’m cheating a bit here because I can’t decide between the two, so I’d have to invite Gwenan Gibbard and Dylan Cernyw. They’re always together at parties with their harps, and they know how to raise everyone’s spirits!
What made you join Plaid Cymru?
The only party that will always put Wales first. And other parties have never appealed to me.
