This is your chance to submit motions, get involved in debates, change the constitution and stand for election for the NEC. This year we meeting in Llanelli Library, on the 6th of April
Click here for the constitution as it stands, as well as examples of past motions. You must follow this format for motions to be considered. In addition, you will find here the details of the job descriptions for all roles on the NEC. If you are interested in standing, please send your name, the position you wish to apply for and a manifesto of no more than 300 words to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline to send in manifestos, amendments or motions is the 8th of March. Please note that we will not accept anything arriving after this date unless under exceptional circumstances.
As Plaid Ifanc wants to be a movement for the whole of Wales, at least 4 out of the 9 members of the NEC must be women, including one of our co-chairs and of course our Women’s Officer. We especially encourage applications for women, as well as members of the LGBT+ community and those of BAME backgrounds.
Accommodation and transport will be arranged, and subsidised in some cases. Get in touch if you wish to arrange!
Please register as soon as possible following this link so we can have an idea of how many people will be attending, and will need accommodation or help with transport. The deadline to register for accommodation is the 28th of February. We will also be providing everyone with lunch so we need you to register regardless of whether you need transport or accommodation.
Accommodation will cost £25 per night, which is the price subsidised by Plaid Ifanc. If you do not feel that you are able to pay this but would like to attend conference, please contact us via e-mail ASAP – we want everyone to be able to come. We will deal with all cases confidentially.
We look forward to seeing you all at conference!
